The church was built by the Franciscans in 1934 on the outline of an ancient edifice.This rock brings back the memory of the second miraculous draught of fish in the Lake after the resurrection and the primacy conferred by Jesus in Peter when said to him:Feed my lambs Feed my Sheep John 21:15
