We thank and priase God due to the ceaseless, on-going efforts of fully trained and equipped and Spirit-filled dedicated pastors and church planters, India Evangelical Churches have been planted in several defferent parts of Bangalore, Kolar Gold Fields, Gouribidanur, and in Mandars. These churches, apart from the regular Worship services on Sundays and other special days during the week, are engaged in Cittage Prayer Meetings, Sunday school teaching, Youth Ministry, Women's Fellowship and sick visiting. These churches also have Counselling Centres, offering Christian alcoholism, drug addtion and othr vices. Baptisms are held at regular intervals, at leas once during every quater of the year for a minimum of twenty candidates. This is an encouraging and inspiting feature of the churches' life. Bible studies, prayer and fasting are given the utmost importance in these sanctuaries for God and Houses for Prayer.
MINISTRY TO CHILDREN
India Envangelical Church has a special department devoted to the spiritual nurture and care of children. Sunday School teaching is one of the salient features of these churches' ministry. In our main church in Bangalore we have three Sunday Schools taking care of the spritual needs of children in three different villages - ore than 400 children attend these Sunday Schools regularly. These churches also arrange annual vacation Bible School, where have the services of experts from different places.
OUTREACH
Outreach nd follow-up programes also hold top priority on the agenda of these churches. Regular open-air preaching, tract distribution, visitation of non-Christian homes engage the attention of pastors, and evangelists. Those who evince intrest in knowing ore are given special attention and thode newly baptized are taken care of in the follow-up work.
