Including the immigrants from 102 nations, Israel is 81.8% Jewish. Many still speak the languages of their lands of birth, and are better reached with the gospel through those languages. There is freedom for all religious groups to minister in their own communities except for Jewish Christians, who are denied any legal standing as a religious body. Proselytization and evangelism are frowned upon but not prevented.
