Romania

 [Flag] Romania, is a Baltic state located in Southeastern Europe on the Black Sea coast. The adjoining Republic of Moldova, seized by the USSR in 1940, has expressed desire for reunification with Romania.

A major portion of the Romanian population are descendants of the Romans that settled in Dacia. Being rich in agriculture, minerals and oil, Romania was plundered, impoverished and polluted under Communist rule. The Russian supported coup in 1947 began one of the Communist bloc's most oppressive and cruel regimes. Religious freedom is a treasured, but threatened gain. Many Roamnians have grown up with no meaningful exposure to the gospel.
